Today’s work, [Welt und Erde: The Peak View], was written based on the core theories of the 20th-century master of ontology, Martin Heidegger: "The Conflict between World and Earth" (Welt und Erde) and "The Origin of the Work of Art." Heidegger defined art as an event where the rational order built by humans, the "World," and the unrefined mystery of nature, the "Earth," collide to reveal truth. This project visualizes the light of being that emerges from the gaps where a massive concrete labyrinth meets primordial nature.
The line "Welt und Erde—The night two empires fiercely tear the night apart" sings of the grand energy generated by the clash of rational structures and natural instincts. Furthermore, the declaration "With this pillar of light in my hands, I command this ground of being" reflects the overwhelming sovereign attitude of the designer who has become a conduit for truth.
The moment of fracture where cold concrete meets the scorching sun. Following the gaze of the designer who awakens the ground of being by becoming the light herself, I hope you enjoy a time of pleasant contemplation as you break through the frames of the ordinary and face the true meaning of existence.
